This book is tough, but only because this material is tough. This book is really only "perfect" for engineering and physics majors, as many examples are suited for just these sorts of problems. As a computer science major, such example problems only confuse and baffle me. However, example problems involving (for example) the Manelbrot set make the material fun to digest.
