In my old math classes I just learned how to do math -- not to truly understand it. The text books in school are full of exercises and not too much explanation. It is a pleasure to have such a book as this. It is for the most part, easy to understand and follow. (Which is imperative in mathematics.) The elegance is in abstracting mathematical ideas and understanding them from multiple angles.
